Altai jew's harps

Altai legend says: using komus (altai jew's harp) women used to pacify frightened cattle, lull children to sleep and declare their love. Today komus is the most famous jew's harp in Russia. It is regarded as female instrument (but it is suitable also for men) because it is easy to play and has soft, gentle, soothing and relaxing voice. Anyone can learn to play the Altai komus.
