Kou Xiang is a kind of a lip jew's harp. Chinese jew's harps resemble Vietnamese ones, but differ in timbre. Kou Xiang makes gentle, quiet, and slightly "electronic" sounds. Kou Xiangs are made in the form of petals which open during the play so that not to touch each other. Enormous opportunities and a wide range of sounds - that's what made them popular.
